Judith N. Nolan, 98

Judith Nadine Nolan, formerly of Austin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 27, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 98.

Judy was born on April 21, 1925 to Ralph and Prudence Lewis. She was one of seven children and is survived by her sister, Patty Johnson and brother, Dale Lewis, both of Austin, Minnesota.

On October 7, 1946, Judy married the love of her life, Joe Nolan and the two shared over seventy years together until Joe passed away in 2017. Judy was a valued member of the Austin community where she and Joe raised their daughter, were active in their church, and where Judy worked as a real estate agent.

Judy is also survived by her daughter, Debby (Duane) Kluender; grandchildren, Jessica (Troy) Fralich and Julie Hundt; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Logan (Jeremy), and Lukas; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Judy loved, and was loved, deeply and will be dearly missed, but her family takes great comfort in knowing she and Joe are finally reunited.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, Minnesota.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Judy’s name to The Hormel Institute or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
