Susan Bass Roberts

The Pohlad Family Foundation, Minneapolis, announced that Susan Bass Roberts has been named president. She previously served as vice president and executive director and is the first non-family member to serve in this role since the organization’s founding 30 years ago. Bass Roberts succeeds Bill Pohlad, who will become chairman. The Pohlad family owns and runs several Twin Cities business, including real estate developer United Properties and the Minnesota Twins.

Jeanne Calvit announced her retirement as artistic director of Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, St. Paul, effective in February.

Imagine, a Minneapolis-based visual design studio for business communications, announced Robert Grimmett has been named senior vice president, executive creative director for Imagine Studio, a new endeavor focusing on retail, hospitality, and food service clients.

Scholarship America, a Bloomington-based scholarship administrator for students and providers, announced it has selected Abigail Seldin as chief growth officer. Seldin, a Rhodes Scholar, previously co-founded College Abacus, a financial aid ed-tech company, and later the Civic Mapping Initiative, a research center identifying transit expansion opportunities for cities. … Dunwoody College of Technology, Minneapolis, announced it has named Scott Stallman to succeed President Rich Wagner, who is retiring in July; Stallman has served as Dunwoody provost at since January 2021.

Be The Match, a St. Paul-based organization that works to connect bone marrow donors with recipient patients, announced its name change to NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program), to reflect its larger outreach. … HealthPartners, a Bloomington-based health insurer and health care provider, announced that Mohammad (Moe) Suleiman has been named senior vice president of commercial business for its health plan.

Larkin Hoffman, Minneapolis, announced that Julia Page has joined the firm’s government relations team. Page is a former co-chair of the Minnesota
Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities policy committee. … Gov. Tim Walz announced the appointment of Allison Whalen as district court judge in Minnesota’s Eighth Judicial District, succeeding David L.
