BRAINERD — A 57-year-old man died Sunday, May 12, after the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer in Aitkin County.
James Alton Childrey of Andover was driving a 2002 Harley-Davidson west on Highway 200 when he struck the deer and laid the bike down, the Minnesota State Patrol reported. The crash was reported at 12:20 a.m. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
The Aitkin County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
