DULUTH — A roofer died from electrocution Thursday.
According to the Duluth Police Department, the man was climbing a ladder at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the 500 block of North 17th Avenue East when the metal gutter he was carrying contacted a power line, electrocuting him.
The roofer was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Police said his name will not be released until family members are notified.
