Fringe review: Both an album release and cacophonous journey, ‘Show Me Your Wings’ attempts to inspire you to be yourself

4 August 2024

Worth considering

Musician and theater artist Rhiannon Fiskradatz didn’t want to release her new album at a bar or coffee shop. Instead, in this production, “Show Me Your Wings,” she and her crew created an immersive journey through her evolution a multidisciplinary artist. Expect to share in writing who you are as a person while participating in art exhibits, puppetry, singing, movement and critiques of capitalism, patriarchy and modern technology. Don’t come, though, if you’re not ready to discover — and confront — who you are, or if you need a less stimulating environment to do so.

Presented by MaMa Faerie Productions at Squirrel Haus Arts; 7 p.m. August 3, 4, 7, 8 and 10
