DULUTH — It has been four days of fun for visitors to Spirit Valley Days.
Spirit Valley Days is in its 45th year and the festival celebrates the West Duluth neighborhood, with music, food and activities. Among a variety of events featured this year were the Miss West Duluth pageant on Wednesday, a parade on Grand Avenue on Thursday, and a car, bike and big rig show on Friday.
To close out the festival, Saturday’s attractions included 75 vendors and five food trucks set up on Grand Avenue between North Central Avenue and North 57th Street West. Soulhead, a Twin Ports based energy-blues, rock and funk group, also performed.
With weather concerns around 2:30 p.m., the finale of a two-day music festival behind Mr. D’s Bar and Grill moved indoors.
