It’s been a whirlwind for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz since he was called upon to join Kamala Harris on the Democratic presidential ticket.

Harris announced her pick on Aug. 6, ahead of an appearance alongside the Democratic governor in Philadelphia.

Since then, Walz has appeared at rallies, campaign fundraisers and union and party conventions across the United States.

The Harris-Walz campaign is placing extra emphasis on battleground states, making multiple appearances in states such as Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Chicago

Walz spoke at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Aug. 21, where he formally accepted the party’s nomination as vice presidential candidate. He remained in Chicago on Aug. 22 to attend presidential candidate Kamala Harris’ keynote address.

Earlier in the day on Aug. 22, he spoke at a breakfast gathering of Minnesota’s delegation to the DNC.

In the midst of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Walz traveled alongside Harris to Milwaukee, for a rally at Fiserv Forum. There, the duo celebrated the outcome of a ceremonial roll call confirming the Democratic ticket.
