We’re all hands on deck

Winter Keefer here, your new MinnPost metro reporter. Every four years I face a particular challenge in my personal life: Everyone suddenly wants to talk about the presidential election ALL the time. They figure, Winter’s a journalist, she’ll have things to say. And I do, sure, but do I want to talk about it nonstop? No. I do this stuff all day for work, ya know? Give me a break (and I love you, Mom).

Good thing my incredible team at MinnPost has me covered. Thanks to independent journalism, I know exactly where to send people with questions about everything from the significance of Gov. Tim Walz being tapped as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate to how our state’s balance of power may shift before the next legislative session. At MinnPost, we’ve been all hands on deck looking for stories that go beyond the sensational headlines.
