A group of children discovered the body of a 65-year-old Orr man along U.S. Highway 53. A coroner said he had been dead at least 10 hours before he was found. He is believed to have fallen out of a trailer pulled by a car while hauling furniture.

Traffic on I-35 in West Duluth will be detoured daily for two weeks due to construction on the bridge replacing the Arrowhead Bridge. Workers will install steel beams to support the new bridge’s approach ramps.

About 35,000 gallons of wastewater were dumped into the St. Louis River after construction debris got into a pumping station in Duluth’s Morgan Park neighborhood. A new pumping station is expected to be completed this week.
