Rain and clouds are expected to arrive as Baltimore prepares for a busy weekend, with the Orioles playing their first postseason game at Camden Yards on Saturday and Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks performing at M&T Bank Stadium after.

Storms are likely to begin Friday evening and continue into Saturday when wind gusts could get as high as 22 mph.

The chance of precipitation on Saturday is 60% mainly before 11 a.m. with a high of 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low of 50 degrees.

Friday will have mostly cloudy conditions with a slight chance of showers before 2 p.m. and after 5 p.m., the NWS said. The chance of precipitation is 20% but will rise to 60% by Friday evening. Temperatures are forecasted to reach a high of 77 degrees and a low of 62.

The weather service is predicting mostly sunny conditions in Baltimore on Sunday, with a high of 61 degrees.

The city is expected to see a lot of foot traffic this weekend as the Orioles will host the Texas Rangers for Game 1 of the American League Division Series at 1 p.m.

Later that evening, Joel and Nicks’ joint concert at the nearby M&T Bank Stadium begins at 7 p.m. Mexican singer Carín León will perform at CFG Bank Arena at 8 p.m.

The concerts and game could lead to come congestion downtown, especially if inclement weather delays the first pitch.

Crowds are also expected to head to Annapolis this weekend as the Annapolis Powerboat Show opens Thursday.
